Keepwise helps families sort and plan a move. A lot of what you put into Keepwise is personal: photos of your home and decisions about family belongings. We treat it that way.
The short version
- We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
- Your photos and lists are visible only to the people in your household that you invite.
- This website doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
What we collect
On this website. If you join the waitlist we keep your email address, the kind of move and the timing you chose, and the date you signed up. We count page visits with cookie-free analytics that don't identify you.
In the Keepwise app. Your account details (name and email), the people you invite, the photos you take, the items Keepwise finds in them, your decisions, floor plans and notes.
How we use it
- To run the service: show your household its items, rooms, plans and reports.
- To identify items in your photos. Photos are processed by an AI service hosted for us in Microsoft Azure. It is not used to train AI models.
- To tell waitlist members when Keepwise opens, and to send account emails you need (like sign-in links).
- To fix problems and improve Keepwise, using usage information that is not tied to your photos.
Where it's stored
Keepwise runs on Microsoft Azure. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use a small number of service providers to run Keepwise (hosting, email delivery, payment processing at launch), and they may only use your data to provide that service to us.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until Keepwise opens to you or until you ask us to remove them. App data is kept while your household account is open. When you close it, we delete your photos and lists within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records such as receipts.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or take your email off the waitlist, by writing to bgervin@gervin.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
Children
Keepwise accounts are for adults. Household owners may invite family members, but we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, for account holders, tell you by email before the change takes effect.
